To be honest I don't know. We have 30-40 hens so I don't which egg is which :) Ours are bit older, we're the second owners of them too. But they are a dual purpose bird ( meaning you can stew them) so if you ever get tired of feeding an extra beak.

New Iowa City Council takes urban chickens off the agenda

Help CR get eggs (real eggs, that is)

We've been advised that the city council needs to experience a "ground swell" of support before they will allow up to 6 hens in CR. Please help us demonstrate that we have that support by signing up as a facebook friend.

Davenport man's plan to raise chickens scrambled
